Movement-based Depth Practices
Inspiration...
I am deeply interested in, and touched by, the profundity and practicality of embodiment-based healing and awareness practices. Simple ritual, improvised movement, skillful touch, mindful presence, creative process, and sincere personal inquiry can all facilitate access to our richest depths and healing intelligence. And these paths can overlap in gorgeous ways, creating integrative practices that support radical human realness and nourishing human connection. I love nothing more than to share this magic with others.
Lineage and experience...
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and graduate of the Comprehensive training in the Hakomi Method of Experiential Psychotherapy, a Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodywork Teacher of over 10 years, and a teacher and lifelong practitioner of Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation and other movement-based practices for over 15 years. I have taught depth and healing-oriented workshops across the United States and Europe, and have been on faculty at both the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego and the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Colorado. I am deeply grateful to all of the depth divers before me who have paved the way for my offerings. You can read more about my background here.
Offering...
Through movement-based workshops & private sessions, hands-on massage & bodywork, and embodied psychotherapy & life coaching, I invite you to join me in the practice of letting-go-of-who-you-were so that you can move-into-who-you-are. Whether it’s releasing tight muscles, energy, or thoughts... receiving the deep nourishment of profound relaxation... or spelunking into the caverns of your moving unconscious: my call is back to the living, breathing temple that is our human home.
Take a look around!
To you, and this great mysterious dance of life,
Lindsay Ann Sworski
You are the truth from foot to brow.
